Hello! I pray GOD'S blessings on all of you, and that HE may have HIS will in your lives! I am a fellow believer, sharing in your joy in our Lord.
I am Judi Smith, and I and my hubby have a Research Organization called "Shechinah Research, Unltd., Inc." I beg a few moments of your time to consider a few questions that will impact our research and help us to do our research more effectively.

1. Why are there so many divisions of Christ's Church?

2. Why are there so many diverse doctrines?

3. Do men's opinions control the churches?

4. Does GOD and HIS Son Jesus, the Christ rule and reign as the Head?

(read 2 Peter 1:16-21!)

To thank you for your time and consideration, I would be happy to offer you a free e-book called "A Negative Christ" - which I proofread a zillion times (lol!) that dives right into the heart of this insane battle for leadership in GOD'S Church!

If anyone wants a free copy, just email my hubby Mike at elmiguel@ix.netcom.com and he will send it right out to you. No strings attached. All we hope to do is see Christ's Church truly unified as one body - as it was created to be. (see Ephesians 4!)

To thank you for your time, I am sharing with you a poem I just wrote - I hope you like it!

The Calling

Repentance and life change? What do these mean?
I have called upon Jesus, what more do I need?
Do I have to be humble, must I be grieved
in order to show thanks for the joys I've received?

You are too harsh! My GOD loves me, this much I know.
HE'S smart, and HE knows that I will often misstep.
Yet you're telling me that wherever I go,
my heart should be watchful, aware of each step?

"Confess with thy mouth, and believe in thine heart"
I've done that and more, and still I am wild.
But whenever I feel myself yielding to sin
I'm to cry out to HIM, as HIS beloved child?

I'm certain that I can count on my Father's firm grip
always ready to yank me from Satan's deep mire!
But will HE really reach for me if I reject HIM,
ignoring Him, following my own carnal desires

performing unholy acts that lead hastily to death?
Can I break GOD'S pure heart to my sorrow?
Does to GOD belong my every last breath?
Should I truly care what happens tomorrow?

Yes, I've heard this before. I know GOD'S testing is nigh,
and soon all the earth will be greviously shattered
GOD'S trumpets' blasts through lightening skies
will show us just what really mattered"!

My head bowed, I now sit, pride brought down low
when I consider all HIS truths I've blithely ignored.
my broken heart realizes there's nowhere to go
but bowed down on my knees with HIS Word.

Psalm fifty-one, David's most penitent prose
speaks my faithless heart full to my sorrow -
it refreshes my soul, recharges my life.
With HIM I will face each tomorrow

with humility, repentance, and HIS Hand to Grip.
I've experienced that He is my rock, yes my all -
holding tightly to HIM when I'm tempted to slip
and to Jesus, my Savior, I'll desperately call!

And you who so patiently read this, enduring,
perusing this self examination, and now find
that your own heart is passionately burning
with questions aplenty, unsettling your mind,

please follow me in sweet humbleness deep
as we seek through repentance to yield
self-serving sins, so precious to keep -
to Jesus, the Christ - GOD'S holiness revealed.

He'll direct us in love to GOD'S own dear heart,
Who waits patiently with the good saints of old...
welcoming us home, where we'll never depart
from the glorious wonders of HIS Heavenly Fold.

Hi Judith,

I just got the .doc version and took a quick look at it. Thanks for all of the extra effort.

Holiness is one of my favorite topics, Ill study it more later.

If you would like to post a section or two on the forum I think it would make excellent discussion.

Start a new topic so I can promote it easier.

Thanks again.

God Bless you,
David

Dear Judith,
What do you mean by the "Body" of Christ? How do you define it?

I ask this because the "Body" I know has never broken it's unity.

All your questions PRE-suppose there exists a lack of unity. Yet it is this same mis-defining of What the Body "is" that has led to all the divisions we see in the organic manifestation. These questions can be asked of this Organic body of professors of the faith, but the flesh will always be flesh. What else could it be but to act and manifest according to its nature. And so Christ speaks of the wheat and the tares in relation to this penomenon.

The True Body though is Spirit, it consists Christ and all those who have drunk in His Being, His Spirit. Those who have recieved the Spirit of God into their nature. For there is One Spirit enlivening them all, the actual LIFE of all, and there is nothing but unity. So these questions do not apply to the true Body of Christ, that which is known through Faith and understood to be the True Reality.

All you seem to be asking to me is "why does the flesh act like the flesh?" and so my answer would be "because it is the flesh".
